i want to catch arceus and shaymin and darkrai but everyone is telling me i need the nintendo events likned with them can anyone tell me how to download the events?

You don't actually download the event. You go to the event itself and download the stuff into your game cartridge. Keep an eye on www.pokemon.com. they will let you know when an event will be going on.

Yep, Make sure you have Mystery Gift. there are ways to do it such as Action Replay, best way it to wait though they will be well worth it but please join our campaign:

i have been told tons and tons of times that you have to go to a pokemon convention and these certain people will download the events on your version for free!!! that is what i have been told so im not sure? the only thing i have trouble doing is trying to FIND a pokemon convention,i know they come every year. so that is all i can tell you cause that is all i know, sorry =(

You don't exactly download it. You have to GO to a Nitendo Event, its somewhere in the USA. There are no upcoming planned ones yet, so wait. And if you're lucky enough for it to be near your home, then go there.

If you go, then the people there will connect your game with something else. Then they'll "download" this little mission into your game. Then you can complete the mission and unlock the path to catch the legendary Poekmon.

Oh, by the way, I think you need Mystery Gift, not sure but get it in case you don't have it. But I am absolutely sure you need the National Pokedex. Hope this helped!
